I have always seen stories where others see lessons.
That connection became clear when I discovered theater. I was drawn to stories,
to characters, emotions, and the way a story can make you feel something real.
That’s when I understood the power of storytelling.
Years later, that same understanding shaped my work in the classroom.
I didn’t just want to teach words…
I wanted my students to experience the language
and connect with the cultures behind it.
Through that lens, I created Aventuras in Learning.
A space where language is not memorized,
it is lived through stories.
A universe of characters that students connect with,
remember, and fall in love with,
while naturally exploring traditions, perspectives, and cultures from the Spanish-speaking world.
Where teachers don’t just follow a curriculum,
they create moments of connection, understanding, and joy.
